What’s Happening At The Lake?–March 6th

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

  • Victorian Tea & Tour at The Baker House — Tour the first floor of the last, lakefront, Gilded Age Mansion in the city of Lake Geneva. Tour will consist of the history of the house, history of the Baker family and Victorian architecture of the time. Tea Service to follow, including a selection of loose leaf tea, and tower of sweet and savory treats.
  • Don’t miss the Friday Night Lenten Fish Fry at St. Benedict’s Church in Fontana, WI. Open to the public and voted the #1 Best Fish Fry in Walworth County. Serving from 4:30 to 7 PM on Fridays now through April 3rd.

COMING UP

  • The Delavan Train Show — Bring the whole family and spend the day in historic Downtown Delavan, WI to enjoy the 13th annual Delavan Train Show! This show features operating layouts in multiple scales.
  • The Bunny Train — get your tickets early for this delicious Spring event. Enjoy face painting provided by Suzy Sparkles (available 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) and coloring activities in our depot while checking in and getting your scavenger hunt cards. Board one of our historic trains and take a ride down to the Elegant Farmer. During your ride, there will be many things to look for out the windows to be marked down on your scavenger hunt cards. Upon arrival at the Elegant Farmer, patrons will be able to hold baby chicks, pet bunnies shown by local 4-H students and even get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny himself! All child ticket holders will receive a stuffed bunny on the return trip and jelly beans for all!
